Question about 1988 Ford F 250
What regulates fuel air mixture. my fuel rail presure is 38psi. running very lean in all cylinders. engine lite not on. compresson close to 150psi in all cylinders. starts fine-idies fine but on road it starts missing and gets worst the more throttle you give it- full throttle is like a potatoe is in exhaust. exhaust seems open.
The oxygen sensors trim and richen the fuel air mixture and they will not always set a code in obd1 vehicles. could be a stopped up cat though if the exaust smells like rotten eggs
