You probably cant unless you happen to have a evap smoke machine. but any up to snuff shop should have one. emission leaks can be as small as a pin hole in a hard plastic line that you cant hear see or feel

My 2007 Chrysler Sebring will not pass smog check . It has 74, 000 miles on it. PQ457 Evaporative Emission System Leak (fuel cap loose/off) PQ455 Evaporative Emission System Leak (large leak) PQ456 ...

This depends on the problem , like a bad gas cap is not covered but so what a cap is cheap, take it to dealer and let them fix it for free or very cheap. most of the time its a valve, purge valve or vent valve, these are covered, take it before you hit 80,000. good luck.

What does po440 on a 2003 saturn vue mean with a service engine soon light on

That is a problem in the evaporative emission control system.
Could be anything causing it
Clogged filter in the charcoal canister
A leak in one of the vacuum lines
The purge valve not working,,,etc.
The best thing is to take it and have it checked out, they might have to do a smoke test to find the problem.
All they do is inject smoke into the system, if there is a leak the smoke will come out of it. All it takes is a pin hole in these emission systems to screw it all up.

P0446 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit.
The following are descriptions of all Evaporative possible codes:

P0441 Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow
P0442 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak)
P0443 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit
P0444 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open
P0445 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Shorted
P0446 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit
P0447 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit Open
P0448 Evaporative Emission System Vent Control Circuit Shorted
P0449 Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit
P0450 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch
P0451 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance
P0452 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Low
P0453 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch High
P0454 Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Intermittent
P0455 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak)
P0456 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (very small leak)
P0457 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (fuel cap loose/off)
P0458 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Low
P0459 Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit High
---
At least the cap isn't loose for the gas tank.

I would clear the code with an OBD-II Scanner 'erase code' button, and see how long it takes for it to come back.

205 CHEVEY S10 FAILED EMISION TEST CODE PO442 HOW DO I FIX IT ?

Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak)

There are hoses coming from the top of the tank to the EVAP canister. This is a common leak point. If it is leaking from the top of the tank, the tank will have to be dropped to fix the leaks. The easiest way to find a leak of this type is with a smoke test. Your local dealer should be able to do this test. I think emission devices are supposed to be covered for 8 years by Federal Law.

Lights keep on coming

They mean you have an Emission Control leak. it could be something as simple as a missing gas cap or a leak at the muffler, Catalytic Converter or pipes.

Google Emissions Control System for your vehichle to get more or less an idea where to look at a diagram of the Emissions Control System. All the codes mean the Computer has detected a leak.

I was told I have an emissions leak, would this

No. It will only give out embarrassing noise that disturb bystanders and release some smoke and soot. You may have to pay emission tax in some countries. Visit a panel beater to fix the leak.

Engine Light on got 3 codes

Fix the leak at the emissions system first. There is a small leak that the PCU detected. That could be the cause of the P0116 problem. Also the PCU detected a lean gas mixture because it is getting more air to the fuel system than gasoline. Start with the leak , then the Engine temperature sensor. I think that fixing the lek will "fix' the othe 2 problems. but it could be either one or all of them.

Evap emission leak

If the code returns you will have to have the system vacuum tested for a small leak, could be as simple as a loose clamp, only the dealer has the special equip to do these types of tests.
