I have a 2005 Dodge Durango and the oil light comes on but only when I come to a stop but goes off ones I start moving again.

Check your oil level and change your oil pressure sensor. If good, your pressure is dropping at low rpm. Can be a bad gasket or oil pump. Check the oil for antifreeze and antifreeze for oil. If either looks like chocolate milk bad head gasket. If not your pump is bad

After changing oil in my daewoo matiz the oil light wont go off, what can i do

Make sure that it is getting proper oil pressure, your oil pump could be going bad. If you pull off the valve cover and start the car you can see if oil is pumping through, if you rev the engine it should shoot oil out consistantly, if pressure starts to go down the oil pump is bad. Your oil strainer could be clogged also. Another thing you can check is the oil sending unit, if it goes bad it will not register the oil pressure and set off your oil light. None of these are hard to check, and really cheap to fix. Hope this helps.

2004 Dodge Intrepid oil light stays on - will not go off.

have you checked the oil level in the engine on the dipstick? if so and the oil levels full, you may have a bad oil pump! do not drive or run engine until you have a mechanic to looh at it to determine it as a a bad oil pump. running the motor with a bad oil pump will damage your motor or even lock the motor up!hope this helps you and thank you for choosing fixya.com

Engine noise

Well, if the low-oil-pressure warning light is on, and the engine is knocking, and there is plenty oil in the crankcase, then the oil pump must not be circulating oil thru the engine. So, I agree -- I think your oil pump is bad.
