On a 3.0 liter engine the coil pack is located on the backside of the intake manifold. You will need to remove the air breather from the engine to see it. On a 3.3-3.8 liter engine the coil pack is located on the top side of engine to the right of the oil filler tube. Before you remove the coil check for ignition fire at the spark plugs with an inline tester for spark. Also check the plugs for fouling condition and replace if needed. hope this will help you!!!

Where is the ignition module located on 2004 honda civic lx

I searched under 'ignition module' on autozone.com and 'no parts for ignition module' turned up.
I looked under DIS or Distributorless Ignition System and found the coils are inserted in the top of the engine and this tells me that it's likely that the ECM or PCM controls the spark on these cars.
