Question about 2004 Lincoln Aviator
Gas is leaking at a rate of about 10-15 drops per minute from under the hood somewhere. 2004 Lincoln Aviator, 180,000 miles. What could it be?
It can only be a small area. Does it seem to be coming from the fuel rail area, which is usually chrome color. The fuel pressure regulator or fuel line. The fuel line come up the driver side firewall connects to a regulator, and then feeds into the fuel rail. Any of these connections could be the leaking source. Also one of the rubber o rings for the injector could be leaking. Look to see where it mostly looks to be coming from and feel around the pipes for the gas.
