Like a blinker defect. While i drve if I'm not

Like a blinker defect. While i drive if I'm not using my blinker it SOUNDS like the blinkers are on. sporadic problem. 90% of my drive time.

The usual cause is the hazard flasher.Just replace it and the problem should be gone.Hope this helps.Good luck.

    Replace the hazard switch on the dash.This is the switch you push to make the hazard light to go on.

The right blinker issue sounds like you have one bulb out either front or rear check them both. The left blinker issue sounds like either bulbs(both out) or fuse, or worst case blinker switch has gone bad on left turn only so not picking up the signal.

Chicking noise on pontiac.


You'll have to replace the blinker arm assembly. I had the same issue with my '99 GT. It turned out that a couple of the electrical traces had arced and fused together. You might be able to fix it yourself if you're electricly inclined. Otherwise it's only a couple of screws to pull off the top cover and then another for the blinker/wiper arm assembly.
