Question about 2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
Just replace Turbo in 2001 Jetta TDI. Car has been sitting for about 6 months before repair. Now blowing out white smoke and feels like there is a "miss". Any advice?
If the old turbo blew, chances are you have swarf in the top of the cylinders and it has burnt the valve seats.white smoke is normally unburnt fuel/water mix.also if the car has been standing it could be just condensation it the exhaust pipes which will dissipate when car is left to run until very hot or thrashed for about 10 mins.hope its the latter.....
