Are you sure it fuel and not water condensation? if you had fuel coming out of the exhaust i believe it would be on fire.

Why do i smell fuel when i start my opel corsa bakkie 1.4 fumes coming from exhaust smell off fuel

Rick mixture or stuck choke. Get it to a garage and get it on an exhaust analyser. Will save you money in the long run with the saving in fuel. I presume fuel costs as crazy in Australia as they are in the UK.

Rich gas mixture from exhaust ,wires disconnected from o2 sensor

Yes, you will need to repair the wiring & correct the situation to provide the engine control computer with the proper signal to know how much fuel to release into the engine through the EFI system.

Unfortunately, too many times these wires are altered by way of resistors or just unplugging them in an effort to get more power & that results in more fuel coming through the exhaust. You are need to check the catalytic converter to see if its functioning, (with raw fuel fumes coming through it may be gone/removed/gutted) normally with the fuel system & exhaust correct, you shouldn't smell fuel coming out of the tailpipe. good luck

2003 dodge 2500 diesel backfires and destroys

Well, usually when a proper running vehicle backfires through the exhaust its caused by an excess in fuel building up in the pipe and igniting. Some newer diesle trucks will spray fuel into the exhaust to clean the emissions and reduce smoke coming out of the tail pipe. You could have a bent or sticking valve that is allowing extra fuel out into the exhaust, or when it went to clean the exhaust (If your model does that) the exhaust might not have been hot enough to ignite the fuel until you put a load on it causing the exhaust temp to jump igniting all the fuel in the tail pipe.
