Question about 1998 Isuzu Trooper
Well, luckily they were only messing with the fuel system, I don't think they did anything mechanical, I would raise a big stink about it though. They recalled it and you took it to the dealer? Isuzu pulled out of NA and left a bunch of junk over here. We don't have too many diesels though. We had a diesel generator once, a big 15 KW, it would run out of fuel all the time. It would take days to get that thing started again and would never run right. One guy said that it had to be purged or primed or something, to get the air out of the fuel lines. He would go over there and crack the lines and it would run great, till it ran of gas again. I don't know what these guys did to your truck, but, I wouldn't pay them, I would blame them. Or pay them, stop payment on the check and see them in court,, keep track of your expenses. Strip the engine, that's a good one. Yeah, we'll just keep replacing parts till we hit it. Your bill is $6,745,549 plus tax! You might want to find a real diesel mechanic for a second opinion. Hope this helps.
