Can i adjusr clutch on polo 2005 1.2 car

I haven't done a Polo clutch but I would have thought there is an adjuster on the end of the cable where it operates the clutch. Get someone to press and release the clutch while you look in the engine compartment under the bonnet/hood and you should be able to see where I mean. Cables stretch over time.

Sounds as if release bearing may have come out of correct position during reassembly.

GEARBOX 1995 USUZU MU 3.1 DIESEL

If the clutch is not disengaging when you put your foot on the clutch ( if the system has been bled correctly or cable fitted correctly ) then the problem is that the clutch plate is in the wrong way round and the clutch hub with the springs is hitting on the flywheel bolts

CHECK STARTER RELAY AND FUSE.REPLACE BATTERY CABLES IF YOU HAD THEM FOR A LONG WHILE.BECAUSE GROUND CABLE COULD BE BAD.TURN OFF RADIO FIRST BEFORE REMOVING BATTERY CABLES SO YOU WONT LOSE RADIO CODE.

Clutch noise and stiffness

it sounds like your clutch release bearing has or is colapsing.when you press the clutch the release bearing is under the most load hence the noise.gearbox out i,m afraid. Can you still get gears ok ?.Also the pedal box,s are prone to break on polo,s ,the symptom for that is like a squashy pedal and hard to get gears.if you can look up at the top of the clutch pedal where the cable mounts see if the bracket the cable fits in to is broken away at the top.
