It is located on fuel rail. to check you must have fuel pressyre gage connected and watch fuel pressure while running when you unhook and hook vacume hose.

Where is location of fuel volume regulator

Fuel pressure regulator ! An it's location is inside the fuel tank .
The fuel pump (FP) module contains the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and the fuel sender assembly. The fuel pressure regulator is attached to the fuel pump in the fuel pump module located in the fuel tank. It regulates fuel pressure supplied to the fuel injectors. The fuel pressure regulator is a diaphragm-operated relief valve. Fuel pressure is established by a spring preload applied to the diaphragm. Excess fuel is bypassed through the regulator and returned to the fuel tank.

98 buick regal has a strong gas smell

Do you know what fuel pressure regulator is ? These like to leak when they get older !
The cartridge type fuel pressure regulator (1) is a diaphragm-operated relief valve (6) with fuel pump pressure on one side, and regulator spring (2) pressure, and intake manifold vacuum on the other side. The regulators function is to maintain a constant fuel pressure across the injectors at all times. The pressure regulator compensates for engine load by increasing fuel pressure as engine vacuum drops.
The cartridge regulator is serviced as a separate component. When servicing the fuel pressure regulator, insure that the O-ring backup, (3) large O-ring, (4) filter screen, (5) and small O-ring (7) are properly placed on the pressure regulator.
It's located on the fuel injector fuel rail !

The location of WHAT???

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1250 is a manufacturer - specific code which has a general description of "Pressure Regulator Control (PRC) Solenoid Circuit Malfunction".

The PCM monitors input voltage at Pin number 44 when the ignition is turned on. DTC P1250 sets when less than .44 volts are present. The possible causes are:
> PRC Valve malfunction (open or shorted internally)
> Open or short circuit between the PRC valve and the PCM (control circuit)
> Open or short circuit in the solenoid ignition voltage supply circuit
> Failed PRC valve (stuck open)
> Malfunctioning PCM

Fuel pressure sensor location

I think your after the fuel pressure check valve or regulator. This model doesn't actually have a fuel pressure sensor.
The regulator is on the centre of the manifold at the end of the fuel rail. The check valve is right next to the PVC valve which is also at the centre of the inlet manifold.
Let me know if you need more information.

Can you tell me where the fuel regulator valve is on my 1997 chevy lumina ? or shrader valve? i need to know where to locate this valve and my husband is driving me nuts over it cause he can't find it. ...

Both are on the fuel rail, the pipe that brings pressurized fuel to the injectors. It runs across the tops of all the injectors, and the schreader valve is somewhere on this pipe. The regulator is almost always at the end of the fuel rail opposite the side from the pump and usually has a vacuum line going to it. Most have a return line going back to the tank, a little smaller than the inlet side.

2001 grand am 4cyl. fuel pump runs..engine turns over will not start. when gas is sprayed down intake it start for a few seconds..we figure it is the fuel pressure regulator? Location of regulator and how...

the fuel pressure regulator is located on fuel rack, top of motor.follow the chrome fuel lines on top of motor to the end next to drivers side of motor and you will see a round cylinder. that cylinder is your fuel pressure regulator.make sure to let pressure off those fuel lines before removig the regulator. you should have a valve on the fuel rack that looks like a tire valve, insert something pointed into that valve and gas will come out.that's the way you releive the pressure from the fuel advised that gas should come out of that valve, cover your eyes and face.

Where is the location of the fuel regulator valve

If you mean your fuel pressure regulator. It's located on the CSEFI injector assembly, the regulator is located under the air intake plenum on the back of the fuel meter body.
If the regulator is bad it may cause either a drop in fuel pressure or an increase in fuel pressure at the rail . A drop in fuel pressure, if severe enough, can cause bad or no idle condition, engine starving for fuel and etc.

If the regulator is causing excessive pressure it can cause fouled plugs, black smoke from exhaust and rough engine performance.
Before you change the regulator check for cracked, rotted or disconnected vacuum hose.

Also you can connect a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve on the rail and monitor the pressure to see if it is in specifications, or to see if the fuel pressure drops rapidly after engine shutdown.

Hope this helps and good luck with your project. Thank you for using Fixya
