Radiator drain plug

Should be located on one of the bottom corners or bottom middle of the radiator, either in the front or rear side of the corners. It may be covered by a plastic air dam or under-engine fascia panel that may need to be removed to access the drain plug. Chrysler has also been known to hide their drain plugs behind the grille on the front of the vehicle so if you have no luck underneath the car, see if anything is visible behind the grille.

Remove radiator plug

If the radiator does not have a drain plug, you would need to remove the lower hose to drain the radiator.

Once cooled - remove the radiator cap - right on top of the radiator.

Where is the radiator drain plug on the 2006 Dodge Stratus

It should be on the lower right side of the radiator, BUT, if I remember correctly, it is plastic and breaks easily. I think the best way is to even take off the bumper cover, move the horn a bit and gently, very gently since it is plastic and junk, unscrew it.

I would probably go the other way and remove the bottom radiator hose. If you have a plastic plug like I believe, it really is very fragile and breaks easily.

Again, I'd yank the bottom radiator hose. Either way, be careful!

Good luck!!

Where is radiator drain plug and thermostat for 2000 dodge stratus

Lower right hand side of the radiator (passenger side when facing the front of the engine) on the back side of the radio when standing in front of the vehicle. the thermostat i think is in the housing where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine, if not it is where the upper hose connects to the engine, a more detailed explanation is found here
