My problem exist when I stop at a store for a short period of time. When I start it back up and get on the road it feels like something is holding it back. Then all of a sudden it back fires a little and then its fine again. Only when its warm. No check light. Changed fuel filter and clean throttle body often. Has cold air intake.

Electrical problem. Something gets hot and stops working. Could be fuel pump or something in the ignition system, so losing spark. After it stalls, spray starting fluid in the intake and try to start. If it fires up and runs a few seconds, you know it's a gas problem. If starting fluid doesn't do anything, check for spark, it's probably an ignition failure-possibly the coil or the ignition control module. The module can be tested at a parts store.

sounds like you may have a short that is causing relay to fail so buy a circuit tester at parts store for few bucks and test wires to relay for shorts.

sounds like the park/neutral safety switch is having an issue. Sometimes you can get at them and clean them, but most likely you will need a new one.

Car wont start at times

try checking the ignition fuse in the fuse box unde the hood. if it doesn't have a good connection or if there is a short it could cause the car not to start. my grand am is doing the same thing and i tried cleaning the connection of the fuse, but i think i may have to replace the fuse box because there might be a short.
