This has several possiblilitys, it could be the switch in the dash has gone out even if it does not work with the key in the tailgate. other possible item could be the window motor or a sensor that detects if the gate is up or down. check motor wires for power when the switch is activated by pulling off the panel on the tailgate, if it is getting power i would suggest replacing the motor. if not you may have to trace wires to the drivers side of the tail gate and find the sensor.i had to by pass mine a while ago. makes it much easier to clean the glass on the inside cause the window will roll up with the gate down.

Rear window won't go up or down

Check for power at the switch and at the motor to the window. If power, replace motor. If no power check fuses.

What would make the rear antilock brake light stay on in a 1987 ford bronco?

Might possibly be the rear sensor on the top of the rear differential, very very common on those and the fords of that time.

Where to find the fuel pump shut off switch on the 1987 ford bronco ii

It can be in a few places, look in the middle of the dash on passengers side just where the carpet and console meet,up under the dash, then look on the same spot on drivers side, then in each kick panel on passengers side, and drivers side, then look in the rear,on both sides of fender wells. If this was at all helpful.please rate, thank you.
