Try pulling the idle air controll valve out and cleaning it, if that doesnt work you may have to replace it. I hope that helps you, good luck!

I had a 98 5.9 that had low idle, it endeded up being intake gaskets that fixed it, u may need to pull ur injectors and kleen the fuel rail side of injectors with carb n choke cleaner and an air blower, the engine side can b kleened as well but usually not needed grease the O-rings lightly so they slip back together. cycle the key 3 to 6 times to refill the fuel rails before trying to start
