It's in your owner manual.

fuse 11, 26 & 10

could be the GEM module. Generic electronic module. expensive. get at salvage yard.

The fuse for the power windows is in under hood fuse and relay power distribution box. You can look it up in the owner's manual at this link fior free

Can you tell me what number fuse is the power window relay on a 2002 Mercury Sable. My windows will not work and the driver side is down.

We get so many of these window problems, I would
like to suggest a couple of things

First purchase an owners manual
You absolutely have to have one to look
up lamps or bulb numbers

The fuse thing is almost a never issue
If you replace a fuse once ever 8 years it is
a lot

Now on to the window and ALL Electrical Issues

My opinion only
You need a wiring diagram specific to your vehicle,
BEFORE you have ANY Problems

There is no way we can teach basic electricity and walk
someone thru diagnosing switches,window motors,door
computer modules an more

You need the ability to follow a guide (wiring schematic)
or you will be there forever and only waste your time.

My passenger side front window will not go back up. I checked the fuse box under the dash, but there doesn't appear to be a fuse for the windows in there. I located the power distribution box under the...

A circuit breaker does not blow, it just trips. In the distribution box # 4 is the breaker for the power windows. The power windows have a relay that may be defective especially if you hear no click. On here http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl997g.htm you can see the procedure for diagnosing the problem.

All 4 doors have no power at all 4 the windows

Its the relay switches need to be replace. They are normally located in you fuse box and they plug in just as a fuse does. They are almost look like a hazard relay switch, you will have to refer to you manual for the location of the relay switch within the fuse panel.

How to replace power window relay on 1996 mercury sable

It may not be your relay giving you problems it is ussually the motor getting gummed up on the inside then burning up. Ussually the window motor will work with no weight on it so try swaping motors from one door to the other or just buy the motor its around 30 bucks deppending on the model. good luck

THE DRIVER WINDOW ON MY 2002 MERCURY SABLE DOSENT WORK AT AT ALL.THE MOTOR IS BRAND NEW.WHEN I PRESS THE SWITCH I HEAR A CLICK IN THE FUSE PANEL

Very common for window door switch to get worn out. Also common for wire in boot going through from door to kick panel to be corroded &/or broken.

I have a 2002 mercury sable....i replaced the heater core....now my power windows dont work...my windsheild wipers dont work....my boot release dont work...radio dont work.....what is going on

As you probably know, the dash must be removed to access the heater core, there was probably a connector left loose behind the dash somewhere.

WHERE IS THE POWER WINDOW FUSE ON MY 2002 MERCURY SABLE?

The power windows don't have a fuse, they are controlled by a part called a GEM, this stands for Generic electronic module, if the wipers work ok then the power windows have power available, the problem is if the GEM fails the power windows become inoperable, what is the exact nature of the problem you have, I am a Ford rained tech so know the system very well.
