Best to get the best, econo rotors have less metal in them, and good pads are not that much more expensive, plus the good stuff lasts longer and is safer

Brake squeal

all brakes can squeal, (disc)
especially if lightly braking, it's just pad oscillation,
ever seen a tuning fork, sing. same deal.
some do so no matter what you do.... (been there many a time)
the cure is here, if possible.
1: missing parts, ive seen many shops replace pads and leave out the pad shims... do you need a diagram of what is there.?
i have it if you need it. ask.
2: if above parts not missing put on what i call pad glue.
all stores for cars sell this magic fix. a tube of pad glue,
in fact will be marked anti-squeal magic stuff.
3: some pads like to squeal others dont (brands)

btw i own same car and it does not squeal.
suzuki went chapter 11. and their online pages, (dregs) has has no drawings of the calipers. nor lists those parts above.
i have the FSM book on this car, 2004
and page 4B1 shows these parts. (amaZing huh>)
there are 4 shims
2 one each side.of a pad.
do you need part numbers, i have the official parts catalog too.
see here.

the part names are "anti-noise springs"
i found out that suzuki sells the pad set with new shims.
so if you bought them aftermarket and they are missing
you must reuse the old shims. suzuki dont sell the shims by self.
amazing huh?

I run RAYBESTOS.
they also have drag reducing clips..... upgrade.

Service Grade; Ceramic; Drag Reduction Clip Recommended H6046; OE Pad Material is Ceramic; Front; SGD680C

http://www.raybestosbrakes.com/magnoliaPublic/home/catalog/search.html?searchCategory=Automotive%20%2F%20Light%20Truck

as seen here, decide what you want then buy exactly that.
all my autostores in town can get them in 1 day or less.

or buy loaded calipers.
or use the glue and pray.

Change pads all the way around and rotors. as I drive the brakes squeak. Buick Lesabre 2004

Did you spray any antisqueak spray on the back of the pads before you install themm..Alot of time the components on the calipers rub on the back of the pads and cause a squeal..

Just changed all brake pads and rotors on 2004 Buick Lesabre. There is a noice like a brake pad noise at partial pressing of brake petal. Is worse after traveling about 10 to 15 minutes

If it's just a slight squeak and then it goes away then it's probably brake dust. Some aftermarket brake pads will still squeak depending on what pads you got. It's a good idea to go with ceramic pads that have a cut down the center of the pad and the ends are chamfered. This will help disperse the brake dust and minimize any squeaking.

I have a 1999 buick Lesabre. My brakes are singing when I apply the brakes! I have some spray to spray the pads with but but my paroblem is taking up the brake caliber to get to the pads to spray them...

YOU NEED TO REPLACE BRAKE PADS WHEN BRAKES GET NOISEY. NOT SUPPOSE TO SPRAY ANY THING ON THE BRAKE PADS OR BRAKE ROTORS.YOU NEED TO CLEAN ROTORS USING BRAKE CLEANER.REMOVE THE LUBRICANT OR WHAT EVER YOU SPRAY ON BRAKE PADS AND BRAKE ROTORS.

You can use your stock rotors with ceramic pads. If you feel that the pads wore down too quickly then they may have been a less than optimal type. Keeping disc brakes clean is key to making them last longer. When there is brake dust and naturally occurring rust built up in the calipers and slides, then they don't release immediately or completely when you let off the brake pedal and they may actually drag your pads.

1995 BUICK LeSabre front drives is brakeis sticking already replace it with a new caliper, what else can it be?

IT sounds like the brake pipe ,you might have a problem with the flex pipe as some times it breaks up inside the pipe on return and holds it on slightly or the disc isent buckeled enough as it has to have a slight bow in the disc to return the pads back 1 thou
(or -.0001" ) both sides.
But when you do the brakes you should do both sides and new rotors and pads ..

Replacement brake pads for 06 Lexus GS 300?

go with standard pads.they wear a little faster than ceramics.but they dont wear down brake rotors.ceramics pads are hard and they cause brakes to squeak.also your car is under warranty with lexus dealership.i would use what they said. because you have future brake problem. they will void out warranty for not using their brakes.

i dont think i would get ceramics as they tend to be noisey. i would look into ebc rotors and their green stuff pads or maybe some powerslot rotors and hawk pads
