What drains the battery on my 2009 chevrolet K3500?

Could be many things. Try hooking up amp meter to battery to see how much drain exists. Bad alternator diodes can cause this. Parts store can test this. If it's ok,then pull one fuse at at time to see if drain goes away. If you find which fuse stops drain check that circuit for shorts. Also check for glove block light staying on or other such.

Fan relay switch

The fan relay could be defective, especially if the fan continues to run after shutdown and drains the battery.

Sits overnight and battery drains

Did you check the battery? Take the car and have a load test preformed on it, simply checking the volts will not tell you how the batt is doing.

Also check for any trunk lights, hood lights, glove box lights that are not going off.

Hope this helps.

Something is draining juice from my battery i have a 2001 pontiac aztec

The connector that is probably the issue is the one at the top center of the radiator connecting to the cooling fans. The fans will run weather the car is on or off if there is a cooling system temp sensor error. That will kill the battery and they are usually quiet enough not to be noticed. Disconnect and replace the temp sensor if no temp readout on dash.

I have a2002 trailblazer and the battery drains after sitting for 3-4 hours. The battery will charge right up, but if left for a period of time, the battery goes dead.

In most newer vehicles there is a built-in battery drain caused by features that have a "memory" such as your radio.
Especially in cold weather, that drain is too much for a marginal battery to deal with.
If you are charging the battery by running the engine, that won't help. The battery needs to be fully charged with a battery charger. Load test the battery after charging. If it fails or comes up as marginal, replace it. otherwise, you will need to begin testing for an excessive power drain.

Battery drains espesally in cool weather

If your battery is 4 or 5 years old it may need replacement, but any auto shop will confirm this . ... But if you are unsure sit in your car leave your headlight on( engine not running) for approx 5-10 minutes and check cars ability to crank (have jumper leads handy also) . Any servicable battery will easily cope with the power drain from this test and live to fight another day .Good luck

Battery drained dead in ocld weather

Could be both batteries went bad.
1) I would take battery back to where you bought it and have them test.
2) Check, or have someone check, that battery power is not being used when the key is off and the car is not being used in any way. There will be a slight trickle of power use, but nothing that would wear the battery down in less than 3-4 weeks.
