Question about 1984 Ford Bronco II
We got it back from a mechanic and they said there was a vaccum leak on the left side and found out that the carb was not torqued to the right specs. And my neg battery termanel is a lot longer than it should be.It starts and runs good till it worms up then you shut it off and it will not start up agian.
New gaskets ont the whole to of the motor besides the heads, new fuel pump, starter, used wiring harness, new carband distribeter
Please help me every thing is new i dont know what to do. Thanks hope to help you soon thanks joe
The longer bolt has nothing to do with it not starting. Vacuum leak could but unlikely. Either your starter is getting overheated from heat transfer from the engine, or the distributor timing isn't set right. I would check the timing first and find TDC and rest the distributor into the block. If you need a video for reference, check out YOUTUBE.COM and search set timing on whatever engine you decide to check.
