My transmission on my dodge caravan locked up on me while at a stop light. How do I fix it?

PLEASE don't take it back to an automotive shop. transmissions are 10x more complicated than the engine itself. most the time the shop will act like they know what is wrong but they don't. take it to a transmission technician , someone who specializes in transmissions, because the shop will keep trying expensive repairs just for the money. you could have replaced your tranny and it could have been a sensor
