Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
Im not sure if you got your alero to start yet. But heres an Idea, The alero comes with a security feature that if you have 3 failed starts it activates. a good sign of this is while having the key turned does your security light flash on the dash. if so turn the key forward with out starting the car and leave it on for 10 minutes and then the security light on the dash should stop flashing. Now turn the key off and remove key stick key backin and turn over to start car. Did your car start ??

Check the voltage from the oil sender switch if you do not hear the fuel pump poriming upon turning the ignition key to the ON position. It will run for 5 seconds then shut off. No need to start the engine just turn it to the on position only. Every time you do that it should run for 5 seconds. If it does not the oil pressure switch must be changed. If you do hear the pump running the fuel pump relay is at fault then. Change that if the oil switch is priming the pump
