The PO 442 code is an EVAP system small leak, either in the evaporative system or cooling. Sometimes this will occur after a drenching rain and remain until the diagnosis code is reset, usually will disappear after you read the codes. If not, a dealer can reset the code system via the radio believe it or not. PO 445 is similar, an EVAP system code but is usually related to gas vapors being sent to the engine rather than through the atmospheric venting system. Check the gas cap system here first, a gas cap not properly tightened (3 click) will sometimes cause this. Also, look to the spark system wiring harness or purge control solenoid.

2005 Toyota tacoma issues.

171 & 174--O2 Too lean each bank

420 & 430-common Converter Codes usually for
failed converter, but your vehicle is sort of new

445-Evap Purge Valve Circuit Shorted

Sorry about the short & poorly displayed codes

I would be here all day telling you things as other experts do,
just to make it look nice

I suggest you google the codes & study them

You 2 upsteam O2 Sensors may have slowed down & set
the faults as they should be over 100,000 miles

The rear monitors are a bit of a mistery as the converter
should not be bad just yet or the 2 rear O2 sensors

The evap code & purge valve you have to diagnose for sure

Working in you driveway with only a code reader,no experience
no factory manuals & charts to follow or test equipment, you
hand cuffed

I would only do the 2 front sensors based on mileage, check for
any vacuum leaks & the purge valve may be the entire problem
but only when that monitor runs

You really need professional scan software so you can take it for
road test

Check engine light was on took to mechanic he cleared two codes p1174 and u0073. A few days later light is on again what can I check

You don't clear codes and give a customer the vehicle
back. He was trying to get rid of you.

You have codes to work with because you have
system failures

I don't have those codes because they are not
Generic OBD2,they are MFG Specific.

You can't check anything, until you find a manual
or chart for the codes. Then i doubt you can personally
do anything, because you won't know the systems function
unless you study a lot or work as a vehicle tech and have
thousands in test equipment

OK the blazers are prone to stopping up the cat. Start the engine and run it for 5-10 mints. feel the cat on both ends, the pipe going in and the pipe going out, if it is cooler on the out going end she is clogged up and just buy you a generic will fit cause they are less costly.
