Question about 1991 Chevrolet Camaro
You probably have a dead or low battery especially if its more than three years since you last replaced Battery voltage should at least measure 12.5 volts or better or it wont start, see if it can be jumped started or call AAA . a quick check to see if the battery is good is to turn on headlights and windshield wipers..do these both function at their max normal capacity? If they do then chances are that the battery is good.
but i would still clean up the battery terminals and cables..take off both leads and use a wire brush if there's a lot of corrosion. You might only have a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump...have someone stand close by the rear of the car in a quiet place and turn to key to the on position dont start it and listen very carefully because on my camaro they really arent that noisy, if you hear the pump come on for about 4 seconds then its working, but doesnt nesssarily mean its good, it could not be putting out enough pressure to the fuel rails for the injectors. you will have to get this system pressure checked. the only other thing i can suggest is to "change your plugs" and if the wires arent in to bad a condition take them off and clean them of all carbon tracking residue and clean with a wire brush all the "distributor coil post" and give this a shot.
Good luck! can you rate this! thanks!
