With the condition of the screws you should check to make sure there is a good connection to the lower bulbs for both power and ground.

Why don't i have any tail lights on my truck? no fuse in the fusebox for tail lights can anybody help me please?

Have you checked that your break light switch has not gone bad? It's located at the base the of steering column, just behind the brake pedal.

Also, check the brake light circuit. Start at the fuse box under the hood and make sure the brake lights fuse is not blown, the terminals are free of corrosion and that the connections are tight. Then check the brake light switch on the bake pedal arm.

1999 Plymouth Voyager brake lights and backup lights do not work. Turn signal and running lights work fine. I have changed all related fuses (I think) and also changed the braked switch under the brake...

You may have 2 problems.
First check the wire connector at the rear left underside of vehicle to see if you have voltage at brake wire. If you do, you may have a ground problem in the light assy.
Next identify the wire that goes into the N/S switch to see if voltage is going into and out of the switch. If you have power in and out then you may have a bad wire to the b/u lights or a ground problem at the light assy

Replaced the brake light switch completely, but as soon I hit the brake pedal, the brake light warning light comes on again indicating that there is a light out in the rear. But all the lights are working,...

If this is a newer lexus, then its very clever. It WILL be a blown bulb, but when a bulb is out, the car lights the next nearset bulb to substitute. Have a closer look at the rear lights and check all the bulb filaments by eye.

I cannot get my back up light or my brake light to work. my blinker light and my running light work fine. just the backup lights and the stop lights are giving me problems.

CHECK ALL BULBS IF BULBS OKAY,REASON REVERSE LIGHTS DONT WORK YOU HAVE FAULTY INHIBITOR SWITCH.FOR BRAKE LIGHTS NOT TO WORK,EITHER BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH FAULTY OR TURN SIGNAL BAD,BECAUSE MOST CARS NOW TURN SIGNAL SWITCH AND BRAKE LIGHTS SHARE SAME CIRCUIT.

Left and right rear brake lights not working. Center rear light does work? Is it the same fuse? And service manual unclear, which fuse is it? thanks Tibs

Fuse number 7 (15A, Horn Stop) in the under hood box should be your brake lights. If you are referring to your high mount brake light as the third light, I believe they work on the same fuse.
I would check the bulbs, although it may not be likely that both would go at the same time. There are three bulbs in the unit: brake/taillight, turn signal, and backup.
The units themselves come out pretty easy. Just remove the two phillip's head screws and pull the unit back to get it out. Then turn sockets 1/4 turn and out to check the bulbs. Bulbs pull straight out.
Hope this helps you.

I have a 98 Camry and was having problems with tail lights and fuses. I kept blowing a fuse which was making my tail lights not work. I tried paying very close attention to when they would be working and all the sudden not be working. I know it sounded funny, but I told my mechanic that it seemed if I used my trunk, my fuse would blow. Come to find out, the wire was touching the hinges of my trunk. So when I popped my trunk and closed it, it blew my fuse every time.
