Put your ear to the gas tank then have someone turn the key on (not start) if you hear buzzing coming from it it's good if not it's bad.

Where is the emergency fuel shut off switch located on a 1993 chevy suburban?

There is no emergency fuel shut off switch on your vehicle , ford vehicles have one , called inertia fuel shut off .
If they replaced the fuel pump an your still having the same problem i would check fuel pump relay and the electrical circuit for the fuel pump . Voltage drop testing the electrical circuit will show problems most people would attribut to a bad fuel pump , but it's not the pump.

I would take it back an tell them to fix it correctly . or demand your money back .

Car is turning over but not getting fuel ideas anyone thanks

There is not much information for a good answer.
  1. Fuel filter clogged
  2. fuel pump not working [fuse, bad pump, broken wire etc]
  3. computer not telling the pump or injectors to work [should set a code]
  4. dirty injectors

How many fuel pumps does my vauxwagon sharan have

First off, the AA mechanic that sprayed fuel into your intake to determine it is a fuel issue ONLY has determined that! It is a fuel issue! Fuel is delivered to the engine by your pump(s), then it is delivered into the combustion chambers by the injectors. So, what you need to do first is a test your fuel pressure! Most vehicles has a fuel check valve so you can hook a fuel pump tester up to see what the pressure is, some don't and you have to break into the fuel line to hook up the tester. If your getting good pressure 45-60lbs from the pump(s) then the problem is not the pump(s) it is going to be a issue with the injectors.
Now, I'm not saying the injectors are bad, they would have to be tested with a noid light to make sure they are getting a signal to fire. You have to go through a process of elimination to determine exactly what the issue is, it very well could be a pump issue or an electrical issue. Even if there is no fuel pressure from the pump, you then need to check to make sure the pump(s) is getting power. Hope this helps you. Oh, and as far as the fuel pumps, you are going to have 1 in the fuel tank(s). Follow the fuel line from there and if it has another pump you will find it. I'm not familiar with this model so I can't say for sure if it does have 2 pumps or not.

Has codes p0240,p0100,p0089 replaced all sensors still getting codes

With the engine off and the battery negative cable disconnected, check all electrical connections at the o2 sensors, MAF and elsewhere. Under-hood temperatures tend to cause some oxidation on the terminals themselves. I've seen this issue with nearly every Volvo I've owned. Use electronics cleaner and dielectric grease on the connectors, especially on the MAF connector.

P0240 (Catalyst working below efficiency threshold) means the downstream (2nd) o2 sensor is not moving. The reason for this sensor's existence is pretty simple - detect catalyst efficiency and possibly failure in the field. The upstream sensor must be in good condition and not 'lazy', meaning it is slow to respond to the oxygen levels coming out of the exhaust. It must be quick to respond. The downstream o2 sensor, however, usually doesn't change state as much, meaning the catalyst is doing its job. The idea is that if that downstream sensor starts to mimic the upstream o2 sensor activity, catalytic function can be inferred to be less than normal. Ensure the connections are good on both sensors. Replacing only the upstream o2 sensor will not cure this. Catalytic convertor failure is rare in the field but if you have been running rich, it's possible a large quantity of unburned fuels have destroyed or eroded the substrate. The only way to tell is put a scan tool on the car and monitor both sensors, capturing any freeze frame data along the way. Upstream sensor should be rapidly changing state and downstream should be changing state much more slowly.

P0100 (MAF circuit - malfunction) usually points towards wiring issues or problems with the connector, especially if the MAF is known good.
P0089 (Fuel pressure - regulator) could be a worn fuel pump, clogged filter or the regulator itself. Have the fuel system pressure tested, verifying components along the way.

If all checks pass at this point, it is possible that the connections at the ECM itself need cleaning (do not unplug the ECM with the battery negative cable connected). If you perform this procedure do so with extreme caution and scrupulous cleanliness. Allow the cleaner to completely evaporate off the terminals or there could be a serious short condition that will destroy that 600 dollar computer.

How do I put inline fuel pump in silverado 2500

What's the fuel pressure ? Hook up a fuel pressure gauge an test it yourself . fuel regulator ??? It's a fuel pressure regulator . I was starting rough and I had a diagnostic done. "They" said it was the fuel regulator.
Hard starting - not starting rough . What year is the truck , what engine does it have . If they don't know for sure what's wrong you better try another repair shop that know's how to diagnose .
Electrical problems can lead one to believe the fuel pump is bad . Doing voltage drop testing on the electrical circuit is a very good test.
Testing Electric Fuel Pump Problems with Voltage Drop Test
Plus doing current testing can pin point a bad fuel pump .

Car turns off and wont come on again till it reads the gas its not the fuel pump relay im not sure if it truly the fuel pump or a sensor?

The computer cannot tell if the pump is good or not. A failed pump will not set a trouble code,
Here's how to check if it's a bad pump or an electrical wiring issue: Unplug the fuel pump connector at the gas tank. Use a testlight or a voltmeter there, and make sure the testlight or voltmeter is grounded good on a bolt or piece of metal. Then check the fuel pump wire with the testlight probe or with the positive probe of voltmeter on the body harness side of connector, while someone cranks the car.
See? You are looking for 12 volts steady current at the fuel pump wire by the tank when car is cranking over. Sometimes hard to get a good ground on tester there with all the dirt and crud, but keep trying till you are sure you either do or do not have power to pump when engine is cranking. If you do find power there, then the pump is bad and needs to be replaced. But if you don't have power there, then the wiring to pump needs to be diagnosed, because something is not turning pump on as it should. The computer is tied into the relay and turns the pump on there. In most cases it is a bad pump, but checking the wire at the pump will tell you for sure.

How can i tell if the fuel pump is bad

Most will tell you to listen to it hum when you 1st turn the key to ON (not starting) but if you are having other issues it will not prime and hum at all. If the computer, asd relay or crankshaft sensor is bad then it will not be supplied power and car wont run. Could lead one to think it's the fuel pump but really something electrical elsewhere. Depends on your actual problem with the car.

Engine dies

Hi

This could be a blocked exhaust. Unscrew and remove the upstream O2 sensor (the one BEFORE the catalytic convertor) and then drive the jeep and see if the problem is resolved. If so then you have a blocked exhaust, probably caused by an internally collapsed catalytic convertor.

It could be a fuel pressure issue which is diagnosed via a fuel pressure test. You could, as a long shot, fit a new fuel filter and see if that resolves the issue, however, a worn fuel pump could also be causing it.

It could also, if the problem only occurs once the jeep has warmed up, be a problem with the upstream O2 sensor.

Very best regards

Geordie
