1990 accord auto 4 speed has no forward or reverse when warm all gears work on initial start up

Unfortunately your transmission has worn clutches and all the old clutch material is inside the transmission and you can't clean it out because on this model, Honda does not provide the traditional removable pan and filter like most cars. There is a filter inside the transmission and as you drive initially, it starts to get plugged with all the debris that is suspended in the fluid. Eventually the debris covers the filter and the pump starves and is unable to provide pressure to the clutches so the car stops moving. If you leave the car, off, sitting for twenty minutes, the debris falls off the filter and allows you to drive again until all of it is sucked back up and plugs the filter again. You have to take apart the transmission to fix it.

I have a montero 96 model geep and it used to ran down my batteries and they test the alternator it con-farm charging well but when i start the engine the batteries sign on dashboard will not show but a...

you did not mention in your post that you actually had to "jump start" your vehicle so I can only assume that the dash light is the concern

in other words, there is a short in your alternator warning light

if however, you actually have to jump start the vehicle then your battery drain could be coming from just about any one of the 6 computers on your vehicle and/or just the fact that you do not use/drive your vehicle enough

for this vehicle you MUST drive at least 20 minutes at highway speeds to recharge the battery

multiple short trips in a week will be enough to kill even the BEST batteries

1999 jeep grand cherokee transmission

This is called limp mode chrysler did this to protect the transmission without leaving the owner stranded by the road,a few things will cause this mainly putting the wrong fluid in the transmission, they use only atf+4,or the govenor pressure sensor is acting up which should cause a check engine light to come on,or the transmission just needs a fluid and filter change, should be done every 2yrs or 36k miles, due the fluid and filter change about 40.00 but if you have the wrong fluid then the whole system needs to be flushed and refilled-transmission-torque convertor, radiator and cooler if equipped and all lines.

THE CAR "JUMPS" WHEN DRIVING.

I have a 99 intrepid that did the same thing. My car would do it at the initial start up and also at a complete stop at a stop sign or stop light. The symptoms of my car were several. It kept blowing a 10 maybe 20 amp fuse that opened a door that allowed heat into my car. This same fuse controlled the back up lights as well as the A/C indicator light on the dash. The A/C would work but the light on the dash would not come on. The tachometer needle would also jump with the car's jumping. After several months of trying to figure out what was wrong with it, and no heat, I finally took it to the dealer and explained all of the symptoms I was having. They traced it down to an electrical short under the car by the transmission. It fixed the problem. Hopes this helps.

Warning light for 4-wheel drive

I had this problem on my 1995 Montero. The 4-wheel-drive indicator lights wouldn't stop blinking when I switched from 4-wheel drive to 2-wheel drive. It turns out that I had a slow leak in one of the front tires. After I fixed the leak and made sure the pressure was the same in both front tires, the problem went away.
This made sense to me because if one tire is much lower in pressure, it's closer to the ground, i.e. has a smaller radius, and therefore rotates more quickly. The manual says to drive in a straight line when disengaging 4-wheel drive but with the lower tire pressure on one side it was the equivalent of driving in a circle.
You could try checking your tire pressures and see if that makes a difference. Hope this helps.
