Question about 2009 Saturn VUE
My wife has a 09 saturn vue 3.5 v6 awd the voltage reading has always been up and don varying from 12.5v-14.7. the batter died last week and the dealer replaced it no charge but i have been reading up on it and it should be 14.5v above idle but normally when driving it is 13.6v. does this mean the alternator is bad and we should take it back to the dealer or is it normal? sometimes while driving the voltage will stay at 12.5v and eventualy jump up to 13.6 and maybe up to 14.6 but usualy stays around 13.6 thanks forall your help
My Yukon Denali does the same thing and my battery is fine. It scared me watching the gauge move like that. I would drive it for 6 months and see what happens..
