First make sure you dont have the emergency brake is not on. you have to take a hammer and hit all the way around the drum till it comes out far enough to get with your hands.

I had the same problem with a differnt type of car. I replaced everything and it still locked up. It was the emergency brake cable sticking.

you can tap on the drum with a hammer they should come right off but don't beat on them as they will break if you hit to hard and if the brake shoes are to tight they need to be adjusted looser before you try to remove the drums
