I am havin trouble with my 01 duramax puking anti freeze out of the resavoir. It was only a rare occasion but then last night I was fueling up and it puked all of it out. Had sencer replaced in anti freeze resavoir now I have no heat Any tips?

If when the sensor was changed , the system lost a lot of anti-freeze, you may have an air pocket. Also you may have a bad thermostat. Was your no heat problem reason for changing sensor? Either way change thermostat, and bleed the system. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Well if by new engine belt you mean timing belt ....thi timing is off and you will have to have it redone by a real mechanic ..unfortunately your care will most likely have bent valves

I'm thinking of buying a 2002 2500HD duramax 4x4.

good trucks, but they've been known to give trouble.( injector pumps, fuel filter housings, etc.) the injector pump alone runs around $1500.00, without labor. fuel pump housing,$150.00,and so on. and pray the turbo doesn't go out! my sugestion? buy a gas rig with a 350 that has maintainence records and about 125.000 to 150.000 miles. it will last you a good long time.

It has been very cold..but i plug the truck in every night, the last three days in the morning my fuel filter light comes on and the truck dies out and wont run right. I added Haws anti gel but it still...

make sure you have at least half a tank when it gets below 20 degrees because when it is cold fuel is more dense and this added density makes the engine work harder when starting also if you havent replace the fuel filter

Have 01 olds bravda, having trouble fueling vech. suspect anti siphon vavle malfunctioning, ware is this located & can i bypass somehow?

The anti syphon valve is in the filler hose on top of the fuel tank, if you drop the fuel tank then pull the filler hose off you should be able to see the problem. Also check the air bleed is not plugged as it will not allow the tank to fill.
