Hi,if you trace the water hose back from radiater it will lead you to a thermostat housing where you will find inside a thermostate.

Have your thermostat checked, also check the coolent level.

2005 civic ex special edition has cool air blowing out of vents in very cold weather....starts out warm but soon changes to cool and stays cool


Could be a couple things...

1. Bad Thermostat.
2. Bad Heater core.

The thermo is a easy fix if you're mechanically inclined. I would look at this first.
