Question about 2007 Kia Rio5
Hi, well where do we start here, i take it you have got the car running, your lucky not to have fried the ecu or ignition control module if you had fried these your talking alot of money.
anyway as for the stereo their should be an inline fuse on the live wire at the back of the stereo so if you locate the live wire in the back of stereo then follow it into the dash and you should find an inline fuse, this would have blown as the stereo has a permanent live to store the stations, what they mean by reset the stereo is the security code but as your stereo is not lighting up then the fuse us your problem.
are you sure you have checked all the fuses in the fuse box i would double check to rule out that being the problem its best you remove one at a time and check if its blown and replace if not or use new one if you find a blown fuse.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
