My cady burns oil but but the engine runs n look good too! whtas the problem?

Could be worn valve seals or piston rings allowing oil into the combustion chambers, to be burned. Those are internal engine problems. Your engine will still look good and possibly run good, but your emissions will be high if you're burning oil.

Were do i put transmission fluid in the tranny 1997 cadi catera

Your Catera has a sealed for life transmission so therefore on one of these models there is no dipstick and you cannot check the fluid level yourself. The dealer can check the level but that is only necessary if you have a leak. Use a premium grade oil and a quality filter such as AC/Delco, Wix, Purolator, or Bosch. The correct weight oil is listed in your owner's manual and possibly on the oil fill cap or dipstick.

It's a crankshaft position sensor. the sensor itself is located right under your oil filter ans the wiring runs back up behind the top of the motor.
