Squealing noise on 01 ford ranger while accelerating

Hi, I'm glad to help!

First you need to remove the drive belt and spin the Alternator, A/C Clutch and Water Pump pulley's and see if you hear the squeal. Its possibly it may have to be under a load before you hear it but its worth a try. It's also possible it could have something to o with the Throttle Body or Intake Manifold. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.

My serpentine belt made a little squeling when it was wet or damp out, now it's doing it all the time and it really loud, could it be a pully and if so which would be the most common one to do?

It could be a pulley, sometimes a worn belt will do that. Check the idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and alternator pulley, then check all the rest. If an alternator bearing is going bad, it may leave you stranded someday.

Replace Belts

I have found a answers that maybe can help you. There is at least one pulley the the belt runs around that is not part of any device. Put your ratchet on the center nut for that pulley in the on position. When you put pressure on the ratchet the whole pulley should move like it's on a spring. if it doesn't try the other pulley. there should be a diagram under the hood showing where the belt goes. put the belt over all the pulleys but one. put pressure on the ratchet until the pulley moves enough to slip the belt over the last pulley. you're done!

On start up loud squel from one of belt driven components my it may be a top guide wheel the sound goes away but still can be heard under hood when open

Belt squeel is usually from a belt that is to loose and the pulley is slipping against the rubber creating the "squeel".
You will need to locate the belt tensioner and tighten it until you get a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch vertical flex of the belt at the center point between the pulley's.

Need diagram of accessory drive belt for 1994 ford tempo. How the belt goes around pulleys

There should be a diagram under the hood somewhere. Maybe on bottom of hood (look up) on passenger side.

High pitch noise coming from under the hood louder when I push on the gas pedal

This could be a couple of things. There are bearings in the a/c compressor, alternator and p/s pump. One of these could be going out. There is also a bearing in the belt tensioner and in any idler pulleys connected to that belt setup. Check those first. If that's not it maybe check your fan. There is also a bearing in there.... If it's an electric fan disreguard that part. If it's belt driven see if it spins with the engine off, we don't want to loose any fingers. If the fan clutch is seized up that's an easy fix.

I have a 2004 nissan i replaced the serpentine belt and now when you start it, it squels for a second.

your belt tensioner (sp) might be loose you can also use belt dressing. the squel is from the belt sliding on a pulley trying to catch up with the speed of the pulley

POWER STEERING PROBLEM - CONTAINER CONSIST TWO LEVELS. SHOULD THE BOTTOM PART BE THE NORMAL COLOUR OF THE FLUID AND THE TOP PART APPEARS TO BE DIFFERENT THEN REMOVE THE CONTAINER AND CLEAN PROPERLY AS THERE IS A SIEVE BETWEEN THE TWO LEVELS WHICH IS BLOCKED. DRAIN OIL FROM POWER STEERING SYSTEM AND REFILL WITH NEW OIL.
iF BELTS WERE RECENTLY CHANGED THEN THE PROBLEM MIGHT LY BY ONE OF THE PULLEYS THAT IS WARN. MEANING THAT THE BELT INBEDDS TO DEEP INTO THE PULLEY AND CAUSE THE BELT TO SQUEL. SHOULD YOU POUR WATER ONTO THE BELT WHILE IT IS SQUELING IT PROVES THAT IT IS EITHER THE BELT THAT NEEDS REPLACELMENT OR ONE OF THE PULLEY PROVIDING THE BELT TENSION IS INSPECT
