How do you remove the battery in my 85 corvette? Do you need to remove the fan and other equipment on top of it or is there an access panel?

To remove the battery, you need to remove the small panel that is in front of the driver's door. There are 3 screws in the front, by the wheel bay, one on top, and one below in the narrow crevice between that panel and the long narrow panel that goes all the way to the back. After releasing those screws you can remove the panel and gain access to the battery.

Step 3 Disconnect the glass from window regulator.

Step 4 Tape the glass to door frame. The glass should not require removal.
o Tip: Tape the glass out of the way to allow access to the window regulator and window lift motor assembly.

Step 6 Remove the window regulator mounting bolts. Slide the regulator assembly out through the interior access opening of the door. Remove the motor.

Step 7 Attach the original motor to the new window regulator and install the regulator assembly. Tighten the mounting bolts.

Step 8 Reconnect the electrical connector to the window motor.

Step 9 Install the window back onto the window regulator.

Step 10 Re-install the vapor barrier.

Step 11 Re-install the door trim panel and handles/switches.

Step 12 Test the power window for proper operation by rolling the window up and down in complete cycles for proper testing.
o Tip: After re-installing a window lift motor and regulator, it may be necessary to re-program it following manufacturer specific instructions. Not following or performing this step may result in improper power window function.

1998 Corvette power window

It sounds like you have power coming out of the switch to the motor because of what you hear. So that pretty much leaves you with a window regulator problem. Make sure there's no binding action between window & frame

How to replace electric window motor 1985 Chevrolet Cavalier Driver's side

You'll ned to remove the inner trim off the inner door first (handle, any arm rest or such, look low for screws) after removing all trim pieces the inner door panel will need to be removed; start in lower corner pulling straight out, work with the top of the panel last, I expect it is hooked into the upper portion of the door. After removing panel and some plastic sheeting (weather protection) you should have access to the inside of the door where the motor sits.
I hope this may have helped,

Installing new power window motor on a 1980 Corvette. Having some problems. Where does the window regulator need be for you install new motor? all the way up,down, middle etc. Need some tips not working...

You will need to roll the window down approx half way and you can either feel with your finger or get a small mirror to place in the door. You are looking for a hole in the regulator gear that will align with a hole in the main section of the regulator that bolts to the door. Once these are aligned you need to install a bolt through them and tighten it down. This will keep the regulator from moving when you remove the motor. Do not skip this step! If you remove the motor without this step you hurt yourself or even put a hole through your door. After you have the bolt in place you can remove the three bolts that hold the motor to the regulator.

95 blazer, front driver window motor broken need to get window up

When removing the door panel, you need to remove all of the screws first. Then pull the door panel off. There should be screws around the edges or the door panel, and 1-2 screw on the door handle(on the inside). Then pop the door panel off, if the blazer has electric windows and locks you have to disconect them first, if it doesnt have power locks and windows, you have to take the window crank off, there should be a screw in the center of that. Unscrew the door lock and pull up. If it doesnt have them locks then you have to disconect it from inside the door panel
