Question about 1979 Ford F 350

I have a 76 ford f250 when i sit at a light my truck stalls checked fuel pressure and replaced ignition module. any help

    I have checked that and my timing alot.It is flooding out after it heats up cant figure it out. Was wondering if my jets are too big.

    It is the factory carb and i have checked the choke and no it is not sticking. the main thing is when i drive my truck and it heats up it does it alot more then. starts up and dies when i put it reverse. I have checked the transmission module and it is fine. if it is needle and seat how is the fastest way to resolve the problem? p.s. rebuilt carb 5 months ago and worked great until now.

    I have checked the idle mixture excessively.started all the way in and drove it a mile and turned 1/2 turns out till it was almost all the I said once truck is heated up is when it dies at any stop lights or sign .when I put it reverse it dies unless I keep rpms up. I am thinking it is the needle and float. I am trying to find the measurements and or clearance for the float unlucky so far.

I would check the idle mixture on the carburator. Verify that the idle is correct.

    The jets could be the cause. Is it the factory carb or an aftermarket carb? Is the choke possibly sticking or not opening? I'm wondering if there is a problem with the float, or the needle and seat?

    I'm wondering if the pick up coil in the distributor might be going out. I know on the GM's it's best to replace both the control module and the pick up coil.

Why does my 1990 f150 stall when i hit the gas to hard

You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
Have you replaced the fuel filter and checked fuel pressure ?
It could be a relay, the ignition module, coil, fuel pump, or a list of other things.

My 1996 f250 stalls in the afternoon on hot days. it does not seem to be related to how hot the engine is. I have tried replacing the fuel filter with no change. this model is fuel injected which I think...

What engine ? .Electronic Ignition Modules are good for causing that type problem . When the problem happens , pull a plug wire an see if there is spark ,no spark ,i would think ignition module . Videos on youtube showing how to test ignition modules .

1989 f250 460 truck runs then will stall while driving then will start right back up it will do this as many 5 times a day and some days never at allchanged plugs and wires cap and rotor and ing coil

you may be losing ignition fire ,try a new ignition module and see if it helps if it doesnt you may wanna check the fuel pressure with the engine running

03 f250SD 5.4 lt. starts runs 1 min shuts off over & over.

well you can check the ignition control module or crank sensor somtimes when they get hot they have a crack and will get worse when hot hope this helps
