Just bought a 2000 honda passport, and the gas gauge does not work , is it a fuse that needs to be replaced ?

if the light works for low fuel it is not a fuse, most likely cause is a bad sending unit in the gas tank.

Why does my gas gauge show empty when there is gas in my 1997 Dodge caravan sport?

it's in the wiring of the sending unit check for a bad ground or broke wire

My fuel gauge floats from full to empty when I stop at a light! And its stays on empty until I drive for about five minute why is that? I can't get an accurate fuel reading!!

I have the same vehicle and my car actually was full of gas, registered empty & left me on the side of the road..It was the sensor in the fuel line that had to be replaced.
