Try soaking it in penetrant oil or WD-40 for a couple days go out every four hour and soak it good..if it dont want to come off dont try and stip it or you'll end up having to just drill the head of the screw off and the use vise grips to try and get the bolt end off. rate this if its works thanks!

The battery have one frame that adjust and locked the battery to the car; sometimes, in the inferior side have any bolt, just loose it and remove the battery.

Good luck.

Removing oil pan in 2002 Ford Taurus. 3 litre 24 valve DOHC

When the factory fits sump pans they use an adhesive sealer instead of a gasket so you may have to use something like a knife or sharp chisel to break the seal to get it to move.

The battery won't move after I take the terminals loose and the crossbar above it. What do I do know?

There may be a hold down clip. It is usually a 10mm or 12 mm bolt. it will be in the center at the bottom of the battery. Remove this clip and bolt and you should be able to move battery

I'm having trouble removing the battery from a 2003 Jeep Cherokee. I've removed the cables connecting to the post, but there is something holding the battery in place. Where are the pieces/screws/Bolts...

Look at the base of the battery, there will be a 13mm bolt, remove that bolt and the holding bracket, and battery will come out, that bracket is there so the battery don't tip over while driving, hope this was very helpful.

there is a plastic block at the bottom of the battery held down by one bolt, as the bolt tightens it wedges against the batter to hold it in position. remove the hold down and it should come right out. make sure to put this back in with the new battery. good luck!
