Hello! take the vehicle to any auto parts store and have them scan the On Board Diagnostics (OBDI) To determine the trouble code...With that code they will tell you the component or components causing the misfire...

Only when it rains, I get an engine misfire and the check

our van did this also. only when it rains. we did 2 things to cure it. 1 expensive but huge difference. use GM oem cap, rotor, ignition module. 2 make sure your windsheild seal is watertight. we were getting water into our firewall junction under the dash board.

Engine won't start after replaceing fuel

IS the time off by chance? you could have changed the timing when you out the distributor back in. Did you gap the plugs correctly? Are the plug wires routed to the proper position.

Cannot start changing pugs and wires

Sounds like you have the firing order right but your off on the #1 on the distributer. Every time you get an explosion coming from the carb its misfiring. Find the #1 on dist and continue with firing order

Engine skipping/misfiring, engine light flashing

Drive it into a dark place, or wait till dark. When it's running poorly, see if you can see any spark flying around. It sounds like plug wires.
