2003 DODGE CARAVAN INSTRUMENT LIGHTS NOT WORKING

2003 DODGE CARAVAN
Recently, the lights on my instrument panel stopped working(Spedometer, Tach, guages ect). Other lights that seem to be affected are the buttons on the radio and the buttons for the power windows and door. The odometer display and ''Park, Neutral,Drive'' display are still working. After reading a few forums, here are a few things that I tried (to no avail)
1-checked fuses
2-removed iod fuse to try to reset
3-removed battery terminals
4-took apart the instrument cluster and re-soldered the pins.
5-bulbs are fine in the cluster

Is there anything else I can check before having to bring it in to a dealer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: 1999 dodge caravan intermittent instrument cluster

This Seems Indicative Of a Poor Connection AT The CLUSTER Or A Junction Connecter Close to the Cluster. This is Assuming you Have Ruled OUT ALL ABS COMPONENTS, LOOK at These VERY CLOSLY Because of the Small Volts These Wires Carry , the SMALLEST DEFECT WILL Cause this Type of Symptom that you have given. Please try all of the Above, I feel Confedint that athis is where your Problem Is.

SOURCE: instrument cluster goes dead after starting

Its a bad ignition. Wiggle the key while running and they should start working again. Good luck.

No instrument gages work,0n 2002 dodge caravan se/3.8 engine. what is problem

Start with fuse inside of car. See if its blown. Anything hooked up recently, like radio, tried to use cigarette socket and now doesn't work. Or anything electrical.

Spedometer stopped working

If the odometer also does not work, I would check the speed sensor in the transaxle.

Need 2000 dodge grand caravan manuel. The dash instrument panel stopped working after a battery replacement. The light work. The tach and speedometer are pinned all the way to the right. ?

Digital Odometer??
Try this procedure and let me know if this worked for you. I have done this several dozen times and it helped reset the Instrument Cluster.
1. With the Key IN the Ignition and in the OFF (not On or Start)Position
2. Push in and hold-in the Trip Odometer Reset button.
3. When "sof 4.0" appears: release the Button and WAIT.
4. There maybe some "E" Codes that may appear.
5. Continue to let the System run its course. There should be a great light show on the dash along with the Tach and Speedometer needles dancing all over the place.
6. In about 30-seconds it will complete it's reset cycle.

Again let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions REPLY in the Comments Section of this Post.
