Do you drive it everyday? Does it have any extra stuff on it like alarm system, anti-theft device? Get one of those floaty ball things that check the specific gravity of your battery acid. One dead cell is a dead battery. They will tell you a lot. And just because a battery is new doesn't mean it is good. I have seen a lot of good batteries dead! Also, check the water in the battery. also, check the alternator, it can't be charging. The light on? Something is killing your battery. If it isn't being drained, it isn't being charged up either. The clock can kill a battery in a few days. Check this stuff out. Hope it helps.

1992 nissan maxima se 3.0 L new starter, solenoid, all relays, ignition switch still wont engage when jumping solenoid just bendix sound if I use ignition sw.wont do nothing help plz

If the starter works on the bench and you are manually energising the solenoid (to the little terminal) then it should work on the car if the battery is good and all the wiring and ground connections are good.

Shorting the two large solenoid terminals will just switch on the motor without engaging the pinion.

In your position I would have fitted a temporary starter switch until I found time to sort the problem out.

I suggest you remove the column shroud to expose the ignition switch wiring and bridge the supply to the starter terminal and if it starts the ignition starter switch (or the internal drive) is faulty and if it doesn't there is a wiring problem between the switch and the starter.

Just changed the starter on my 1995 nissan frontier , but it still will click on time and that it it will not turn over. What is the problem with my truck?

Hi! If your battery is fully charged, and you've just fitted a new/working starter motor, then it's likely that the problem is either: poor connections, or (by the sound of your description) a faulty solenoid (the electro-magnetic switch that connects the hi-amperage cables from the battery to the starter motor. Try connecting across the solenoid terminals and the starter should operate properly, if that is the cause. Best of luck!

The starter motor in my Nissan navara d21 click like have a flat battery

You'll have to replace your starter, of if you're capable or your mechanic is willing, you have to rebuild it.

Make sure to disconnect your battery first. Usually 2, 3 bolts max hold the starter in and it just slides out and the new one slides in.

Good luck

Two weeks ago, when I went to Acura deller for oil change, they sugested me change the battery, since I never got a problem for start, so i did not change the battary. But next day I can not start my car,...

First make sure the terminal and posts are clean and greased.

Then make sure the alternator belt is tight.

The type of battery makes no difference as long as it fits.

What matters is whether or not the alternator is putting out 13.5 volts or higher, in order to keep the battery at 12.5 volts. Put a voltmeter on the battery and rev the engine.

My Toyto 1991 will not start. No noice at all!

sounds like you have a faulty bar inside the starter itself, have someone try to start the car while you take a bar or something that you can reach the starter with a tap on it, if it starts then tha starter needs to be replaced
