The oil pressure switch conjoins to the fuel pump feed upon starting the engine. once the engine gets to normal oil pressure the computer will shut the feed off from the oil switch and turns the relay on to take over till you shut the engine off. If the fuel pump is good try this test. Turn the key to the on position & do not start the engine. You will hear the fuel pump running if the oil switch is good

Need to know where fuel pump relay is 94 sundance

There are three small relays together on the driver side fender. The front relay is the ASD relay, the center is for the air cond, and the third is for the fuel pump.
Be sure and test the ASD relay since it powers several components including the injectors.

I cant find the obd plug in on my 94 jeep grand cherokee laredo and my jeep will turn over but is hard to start what would cause this?

It does not have an obd11 connector, it's too old. The extended crank time could be a couple of things though. I've seen problems with fuel pumps, fuel pump relays and crankshaft sensors. How many miles on it? Has the fuel pump or filter been changed before?

Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay.
Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. See ECM GROUND LOCATION table for ECM ground location.

Make sure all your grounds are clean and secure. I'm sending a wiring diagram to you...different year but more accurate than anything you will see in haynes etc. http://www.scribd.com/doc/18999822/Jeep-Wiring-2
take a look at it and perhaps you can get it figured out!

I can't find the fuel pump relay on my 94 jeepcherokee pioneer. all the box covers are missing

pagen353: The fuel pump relay is located inside the power distribution center next to the battery. It would be the second relay from the back (closest to the firewall).
Good luck.
