84 s10 carb

Any auto parts store can get the kit for you. The carb should have a metal service tag attached to one of the screws on top or side. You'll need the numbers on this tag to get the correct carb kit. If no tag is found then look for numbers either stamped or cast into carb, probably on bowl or on top.

How do you open hood of 84 chevy p/u with broken cable

look behind the grill, not easy to see, and see where the cable hooks up. Take a screw driver and pry the latch in the direction the the cable would move it. I had to do this on a 1992 s10

If it is for that truck it will be fine,
BUT the computer does not have a whole lot of control to see you spend that kind of money in this type economy.

IF you really want to spend the money... you will see a SLIGHT difference but not something I would do

If its an auto box you fill up the tranny through the dip stick tube. You have to be very careful and patient as it can take a while to do.

My 84 blazer wont shift

Your 84 wiring harness is for the TCC ( transmission converter control) system.
On the left side of the carburetor (driver side) you should have 2 cables, one for the accelerator and the 2nd for the TV (throttle valve) control. You will need to adjust the cable for correct shift points. Under normal circumstances you will have 7 to 10 mm's extending beyond the cable adjuster block.
Should take care of the issue for you.
Let me know.

84 s10 oil pressure

Yes that switch will work. So will a lot of other parts and gaskets. You have to make sure the engine size is the same. Parts are compatible with the same engine size. Have a drain pan and new oil ready in case the oil does come flowing out.
Please remember to rate this solution.

84 s10 oil pressure switch

There is nothing wrong with buying parts on ebay. If you don't mind the wait, in my experience you will save. Just make sure it is the right on for your truck, but i think most oil sending units for G.M. are pretty much the same, especially the older ones. If you are unsure message the seller, I am sure they will be glad to help. You don't have to drain, just unplug it then screw it off, when reinstalling it I would put some Teflon tape on the threads to prevent any leaks

no should be same engine. check your engine mounts and tranny mount. how bad a vibration? sometimes after installing engine the trans gets shifted around and if mount was worn it will allow it to hit crossmeber and vibrate.
