SOURCE: 2002 toyota celica power door lock problem

Are you hearing any noises from the pass door when you activate the lock switch? If not, the power door lock solenoid has failed, and prob needs to be replaced. Pull the door panel & check to see if it is getting power to the solenoid in lock & unlock. If it has power, the solenoid is def bad.

Bad headlight switch or relay, or shorted wire. I would check the relay first.

SOURCE: What is the recommended octane rating for my 2002 Toyota Celica?

You have a high compression ratio engine and it's recommended to use 91 octane. You can get away with the 89 octane, but the higher the better for the engine. Less chances of detonation (Engine Knock), Take note that it's best to keep faith full on servicing the Engine for Oil and filter changes. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

SOURCE: I have a 1991 Toyota Celica Gt. It needs water pump fixed.

anywhere from $300.00 to $400.00 dollars they have to move timing belt cover and timing belts pulleys.the labor rate is what add up an would cheaper to buy water pump at autozone or advance go to a independent garage price check besure its in writing so you wont be over charge and go from there.

How long does it take to fix the timing belt in a 2002 toyota celica gt?

Im not sure if your code P1692 acts the same way as a Toyota Celica GT-S, but I read a forum in in which the solution was an oil pressure switch located on the driverside of the engine nearest the battery, it MIGHT be, dont quote me on it as the 1zz and 2zz engine setup is different. Go to and type in code P1692 in the search box and you will be able to find forums from ANYONE and EVERYONE who has experienced this problem, im suffering from the same code! lol, good luck

2002 Toyota Celica with a strange shifting problem.

I had the same problem, replacing you thermostat should do the trick, i spent 8.99 on a new thermostat and 99 cents on a seal. For some reason engine temperature affects the transmission shifting. Good luck
