You have a solenoid on your starter. The solenoid is what you most likely hear clicking. The battery seems to be fine from your info. The starter can be repaired with a new solenoid. It really depends on who you go to and what the charge is to repair. The battery sends power to the solenoid, the solenoid kicks power to the starter to turn the starter for your engine to start. Good Luck

Hi eyansdaddy,
Sounds like a bad connection on the battery , check the earth cable on the battery and the one that earths the engine to the bodywork (at the bottom of the engine) if there worn or frayed it can stop the engine from starting. all the best Scott

Attempted to start my 2006 Mustang but I'm not getting any response other than a clicking noise near the right rear wheelwell. Battery check indicates it's fully charged. Could this be a senso

Sounds like the starter relay module is bad. It is the box with cooling fins on it, mounted on the cooling fan bracket close to the fan. It requires an 8 M/M socket to remove wiring harness from the module. Also always remove negative battery cable when performing any electrical procedures to prevent any accidental arcing

Check the battery first, if it is ok you probably have a bad starter. If the battery is drained, you need to charge and test the battery and alternator.

Turning the key just results in clicking noises.

Those starters are known for problems see if can reach the top of the starter with a long screwdriver or extension tap on it while someone turns the car over if it cranks there you go.

does the starter make a "clicking noise" when it wont turn over? check your battery cables at the battery and at the starter solenoid....if it not a connection , then it sounds like a bad starter relay/solenoid
