Well to be honest, it could be a number of things. Without asking any questions, and from your brief description, my first thoughts are , loose flex plate, or,harmonic balancer, or a rod knocking, or, your smog pump, or, timing etc.etc... Without a better description or when, how, and such, It leaves an open door. sorry

Can lifters be replaced

Oh yea, lifters can be replaced , best if you replace cam an lifters together ! Loud knocking is not usually associated with lifters , they usually make a ticking noise ! Knocking noise is most usually in the bottom of the motor , main or rod bearings . most of the time rod bearings !

They did not hear the noise or did they not drive the truck ?
It could be something in the brake system too.

Loud knocking/banging inside dash/glovebox

We had the same issue on our 2009 Flex. The problem was the motor or the gate (I can't remember which) that switches where the air comes out for the climate control. Took it to the dealer and had it replaced under warranty. It didn't take long (maybe 30min - 1hr).

It seemed like the system had a built-in fail safe that shut the motor down after a few seconds when the gate didn't make it to the desired selection. If you change the blower around when the fan is running (e.g. switch from floor to bi to dash to defrost), you'll probably hear the thumping come back as the gate tries to move, but can't.

Where is the blower fan located on a 1995 chev berreta i have a loud knocking noise when fan is on. is it hard to replace

The fan is underneath the dash up next to the firewall. A lot of disassembly would be required. This is not a do-it-yourself job.

Front End Noise, Chev Cavalier

It sounds like you have a bad c v or constant velocity joint. Look under the car next to the wheel look for a rubber accordian type unit, if the rubber is torn or lose the grease has escaped and damaged the joint. You can replace it yourself, but if your not mechanically inclined would say take it to a shop.

Knocking noise at idle

This is AC compressor rattle, don't worry about it unless it is really loud, in that case replace the compressor.

Ran fine then next day all went to /

that sounds correct and its probably electric and in the tank. turn the key to the start position then listen for a small humming noise coming from gas tank if theres no sound then thats most likely the problem.
