2005 KIA Rio belts have been making noise. Now check engine light is on and I get codes p0101, p0101 pending, and p0170 pending?

The belt tensioner is defective. It automatically keeps the belt at the proper tension. P0101 - MAF sensor (mass air flow sensor) or circuit problem. P0107 - MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor) signal is low.

Code P0171 light on when the car kia rio 2004 work in gas

P0171 is the code for "Fuel System Too Lean." Which means that there is too much air (and too little fuel) in the combustion chamber.

There are quite a few things that could cause this code:
- Faulty fuel delivery system (fuel pump)
- Clogged fuel injectors ($3 fuel injector cleaner might clear it up)
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Leak in intake or exhaust system
- Faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor
- Faulty Throttle Position Sensor

2001 kia rio wont maintain idle. 80k. cleaned mass air, and iac as well, any ideas?

you may have a simple vacum leak. follow all the vacum hoses and look for dry rotted hoses or hoses with holes in them. like the one that goes to the mass air sensor would be a good place to start. if you find bad hoses than replace them.

I can not find where the iat sensor goes on my 2005 kia rio

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT sensor) (12A697) is located in the engine air cleaner cover. When installing, use care not to damage plastic locking tabs.
I hope this helps you

My Kia Rio stalles while in drive and reverse. Is the fuel filter bad or isit the air mass sensor?

If it runs, and you can throttle it up in park, it's not a fuel filter. You need to know what it looses when it dies, fuel or spark.

How to change

Its in your intake by the air filter. Remove the intake tube and there are a couple of bolts holding the sensor in place Its the only hard plastic unit in line with your intake. Disconnect battery for safety. Any questions just ask.
