Well lets see it just doesn't leak at high speeds . If it leaks it leaks all the time. So I'm gonna recommend you take it to a HVAC technician for two reasons . a) Its dangerous charging systems w/o proper certifications. If you not using a manifold gauge your risking serious physical injury should the equiptment your using burst. b) legally unless your certified to do so you shouldn't (fines are steep)

2008 Trailblazer Air Conditioner not cooling. blows warm air for the first few miles then cools. It has been recharged.

Philip, You may have to have a good tech, check, diagnose and estimate repair. Could be a few things causing poor AC, recheck your charge level, check your fan at the condenser, make sure the condenser isn't obstructed, compressor clutch could be faulty, system could be plugged with contaminates limiting refrigerant flow. You say the system has been recharged, was it done properly, if not system could be plugged. AC system should of had system checked for leaks, evacuated, flushed, new orifice tube, then recharged with proper quantities of oil and refrigerant. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Ac quit work after turn on

You can try doing a coolant recharge, go to your local auto parts supply and get a can of refrigerant. Follow the instructions on the can. You have to locate the high pressure valve on the system don't worry the hose only fits on the right one. If all goes well hook it up start the engine and turn on the AC to high. Once the gauge reads charged you should see the compressor turning and you should have cold air.

Car ac stops cooling in traffic after converting over to 134a

When you are outside your vehicle are you hearing a clicking sound and the fan going from higher rpm to lower rpm? The ac relies on air blowing over the condensor, if the car is moving that is automatic for obvious reasons. But when idling the fan should click into fast mode. If you hear the click then the fan is the issue or lack of voltage to the fan. If you dont hear a click than its the switch. A quick fix or at least test could be trying using the recirc button, this will limit the air flow from outside the vehicle and attempt to recool the cabin air (this is harder on mpg but usually effective especially at low RPM) I dont know what your exact make and model is but there is a long list of manufacturers recalling for this exact issue, usually due to poor design mechanics.

Ac intermittently quits working, just replaced condenser, put dye in system at mechanics- no leaks

Have an AC repair shop hook up a set of AC pressure gauges while this is happening to see what is going on. You could have a defective AC compressor or a low refrigerant charge in the system. And as to the hot weather causing it to act up that would be normal, the AC would cool fine the cooler the outside air is, problems like worn out compressors and low system refrigerant charge levels would only show there ugly head in hot weather conditions. Also make sure the cooling fans fo rthe AC and engine are working properly. Good luck with this.

A/C blows hot air going uphill or pulling a trailer.

you will need to change the clutch fan, under load or high speed will heat up the engine and the clutch fan should ingage to pull more are through the radiator. Also at idle with no air moving through that radiator the clutch should ingage to pull air through.

Air conditioning not working 100%

You may want to have the evaporator (the AC part under the dashboard on the passenger side) cleaned. It needs to be taken out and cleaned. Normally this would solve the issue. Have the freon checked if there is a decrease. You may have it filled up and have the system checked for leaks.
