I believe you are talking about the distributor, if so there maybe a bad O ring on the distributor. Also, remove the cap and make sure the oil isn't leaking in there.

2001 Chrysler concorde has an oil leak but only when motor is running, what is the cause?

If it is engine oil leaking, it is coming from either the valve covers, the front seal at the timing cover, or the rear seal. You state that it does not leak when parked, but in most cases, the oil will continue to drip off the engine after shut off, and you will see oil spots on the ground below the car. The location should indicate where to look for the leaking area.

If the leak is not engine oil, it could be transmission fluid, power steering fluid, or even brake fluid. With the engine running, see where the fluid is puddling below the car. This will be a very good indication of where to look for the component that is leaking.

Could be a couple of possibilities that you'll have to get into looking for. Rear oil pan seal, rear main seal or occasionally rear intake seal will leak down back side of engine. Wipe down motor or spray w/brake clean and watch for leak.

Car starts, while car is running, oil squirt below the header

Look in the oil filter area to see if the oil sender is leaking. You will have to jack the car up with the jackstand in place. Look for oil leak in the area of the oil filter. Oil senders leak all the time and have seen motors burn out because of them. Hope this helps leave comment

My 84 Grand Maquis leaks oil in the air filter

Anytime there is oil in the air cleaner system you either have a bad pcv valve or the rings in the motor are worn out and letting oil get passed them. The shaking could be the carb.or ignition system. This much oil in the air cleaner system could be the motor is getting tired and on it`s last legs.

Oil leak

There's not much over there that can leak except for the filter. That diesel oil is heavy and persistent too. It'll drip from those steering linkages forever after a filter change. Check your turbo fittings too. It gets oil and then sends it back to the motor.
