There are normally two areas where this noise will come from and the only tools you will need is a rag and a spray can of WD40 or similar product.

Looking up under the dash, you will see that the brake pedal is suspended from a support brace with a pivot pin running through the brake pedal arm. You should also see an electrical connector/switch mounted either on the support brace or the brake pedal arm. After continuous service both of these locations can dry out and need a bit of lubrication. This is where the squeak is coming from in your situation. Use the rag to protect the carpet from any drips, but try to lightly spray the pivot pin and the switch area. Using your hand, you can push the pedal a bit to work the lubricant into the joint. It might take several shots of the lube to get rid of the noise and eventually you may have to repeat this process.

Please let me know if you any other questions about this issue.

I hear a cclicking noise when I step on break when key is on. I don't hear the click while car is running. Its a 97 infinity q45

Most automatics have a lock on the transmission selector.
When the vehicle is in P (Park) you are not able to select drive or a gear unless you depress the brake pedal.
My Audi Q7 ha a solenoid and you hear it click when I put my foot on the brake.
This solenoid stops you from accidentally selecting a gear without the brake depressed.

Is it a single click when you depress the pedal.
Or is it a constant click click click ?

2001 ford escape makes a hissing and high pitched squealing sound when the brake pedal is released?

You need to have the brakes inspected. This noise is the brake pad wear warning tab hitting the brake rotor.;

Brake lights will not go off in dodge intrepid

It seems like you may have a bad Brake Light Switch, which is located on your Brake Pedal. The switch is activated when you step on the brakes it sends a signal to the Brake Lights to turn the lights on when the pedal is depressed, if it is defective it may be keeping the Brake Lights on. You can purchase on and replace it yourself, it is not very difficult.

Abs brakes chirping noise, when pedal depressed,

worn out brake pads and slightly warped rotors. Most brake pads have small steel tabs that touch the rotor at a 90 degree angle when it is time for replacement. if you keep driving on the worn pads, it will stop chirping but that just means the tabs (also called wear indicators) have broken off and repair is about to get very pricey.
