Question about 1994 Toyota Pickup
I have a new rebuilt engine to install. Manufacturer recommends prelubrication before startup. How do I do this? Any help will be appreciated.
Try turning the engine over on the ignition switch with the fuel pump fuse removed and the spark plugs removed and coil disconnected. The engine will turn easily on the starter motor and will cause the oil pump to push oil around all the passages. A couple of minutes should be enough. When ready to start reconnect the coil, refit the plugs and insert the pump fuse.
